MWV needed to generate excitement and build awareness among its global employee base about a new corporate identity: "MWV: How Brands Take Shape."

MWV wanted to determine the most effective design approach as it has a varied workforce – from mill employees to sales executives and researchers. The "1 MWV" Little Book was an effective way to communicate the same message to every employee and provide a story about what "1 MWV" meant to them. One side explained the company’s journey to the new brand identity, and the other side invited all employees to be the next step in the company’s evolution. When folded out and snapped open, each side could serve as a poster to hang in cubicles and offices. A total of 16,450 Little Books were produced in 13 languages (including English) and shipped to over 100 MWV locations worldwide.
